Ratanjot (Arnebia euchroma) is traditionally used in Tribal areas of HP for its therapeutic properties. Roots soaked in bitter apricot oil for three weeks impart a bright red colour. It is a natural conditioner and helps to arrest premature graying, baldness and hair loss. Also acts as Coolant; oil should be applied for atleast 2-3 hours.
