The Kangra tea is an orthodox green leaf tea from Himachal Pradesh in Northern India. Introduced into the Kangra Valley in the year 1852, the Kangra Green leaf is known for its distinct flavour and its true and unique sweet undertone that has flourished in its original form since it was first grown in the valley. Kangra valley is the only region in India that grows exclusively China, or China-hybrid, tea bushes. All Kangra Valley tea is produced by orthodox manufacture method, and given the traditional manner of cultivation, the produce from the valley is by default natural.
The first flush is particularly flavourful and remarkably well appreciated by the discerning palette.
