SFTGFOP-1 - Super Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe Tea is the highest grade in teas.

This incredible loose leaf tea in an attractive tin represents the best in class Kangra leaf. Light golden liquor, subtle floral tones with a distinctive lavendar note and the essence of mountain flowers. It has a sweet after-taste and is best had without milk. It is an orthodox black tea with a very deep personality.

Comprising the top bud and a few leaves from near the top of the tea plant, the SFTGFOP (1) is picked early in the season from the first flush. The freshest flavour and highest grade of leaves are carefully selected and packed. The leaves in this tin are carefully handpicked, separated and prepared using traditional techniques in the Kangra Valley.

Please read the label for directions on how to prepare. A refreshing, orthodox and healthy treat for the most discerning tea drinkers.

Orthodox Teas and Herbal Infusions from the Himalayas

“Pour me a Palampore”

In the mid eighteenth century the British introduced Tea, one of their most prized traditions, into India. Along with toy trains and beautiful hill stations, the tea estates added a rare and singular charm to the Himalayan landscape.

In the year 1852, tea plantation was first brought to Kangra Valley. A distinctly flavourful line of exquisite teas began to be produced in the Palampur area of the Valley, which is in modern day Himachal Pradesh. This incredible heritage has been painstakingly nurtured and preserved through the years by inhabitants of the region and now himalayan people are presenting this delectable gift to the world.
